Professor D. Edward Davis and I will teach about songwriting and the music industry as part of the University of New Haven’s Summer Youth Academies from July 15 - 19, 2024.
During the week-long camp, we will open our three studios to students who will
write their own music & lyrics and collaborate with others;
investigate potential careers in the record business, music publishing, and the live concert industry; and,
learn about marketing, branding and releasing music.
The course is open to high school students, and no prior knowledge of songwriting or the music industry is required. More information can be found on the University website.
